If you enjoy visiting the site and want to know when new articles are posted, check out NintendoFigures’ new Twitter account: https://twitter.com/NintendoFigures. Feel free to follow me, Tweet me, or re-tweet anything from me! I want NintendoFigures to be a resource for as many collectors as possible so if you like the site, spread the word.
I do have to apologize for being slow to update this week. Part of that is from my job keeping me very busy which means I had less time this week than normal to work on the site. The bigger problem is my keyboard is basically not working anymore and the space bar is really bad which makes getting anything done on my computer a pain. I made the mistake of ordering a keyboard from Amazon instead of buying one at retail and Amazon took their sweet time shipping it, but hopefully starting tomorrow, I’ll be able to type normally again and get more articles done each week.
Despite the bad news, there are a lot of things to be excited about. I am planning on expanding my Micro Land collection this month and getting a lot of the playsets to review and use for displays. I started this site with the idea of making awesome displays and showing them off and I look forward to seeing that goal accomplished. Once my collection is a bit bigger, I have a lot of great ideas for new articles too. These new articles will be unlike anything that has been written about Micro Land and will showcase the potential of these toys. I can’t wait to write these articles and share them with you.
I’m also making some changes to the site’s focus. Over the last month or so, it has become clear that people visit this site for Micro Land mostly. I have enjoyed collecting Amiibos for almost a year now and will continue to do so, however, I want to write articles that people want to see and it seems that for now, that is Micro Land. So I will write fewer Amiibo articles and more Micro Land at least for the short term. Amiibo articles will not be going anywhere and I will definitely keep writing about them because I think they are a great product and are fun to own. So do not fear if you enjoy the Amiibo coverage.
The final piece of news is more of a teaser. Very soon the site will expand its coverage to other Nintendo figure products. I can’t cover everything that is out there (or at least not on my own), because there are so many options for collectors, but I want to bring attention to some of the higher end Nintendo figures that are available too. So be on the look out for new figures being covered on the site, even if they don’t get the same amount of coverage that Micro Land and even Amiibo currently receive. If there are any figures you’d like to see covered or that you might like to write about, please leave me a comment or send me an email. Thank you for visiting this site and I will try to make October the best month yet for NintendoFigures!
