I have been eyeing some of the recent statues that have been released for Nintendo franchises and have also wanted to cover them on the site a bit more so when I saw the latest news today, now seems like the perfect time.  I have been thinking and wondering when we would hear about Star Fox Amiibo that are coming out (I think there will be at least one or two to tie into the game just like with Twilight Princess) and to my surprise, Game Stop has opened up preorders for a Star Fox statue!  As a long time Star Fox fan, I can’t believe that this thing exists and it is definitely exciting to see what is a relatively obscure franchise getting this kind of treatment.  The preorder is up for $79 on Game Stop’s website and while the website says differently, I wonder if it is actually made by First 4 Figures.

First 4 Figures has actually made a number of Zelda statues over the last year or two to tie into Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword.  I am particularly impressed by the Gannondorf one though I’d like to own them all if I had the money and room.  Here are some images of the First 4 Figures that have been released so far.  The Skyward Sword Statues are available through Game Stop’s website and the Twilight Princess Statues are available on Amazon and a few other figures/statues sites.
