Not to be outdone with the news of a Pokemon Nendoroid release, Good Smile Company, the makers of Nendoroid and Figma figures, have released an onslaught of news about new Nintendo figures in Japan recently. Regular visitors and Nintendo collectors probably already know how high quality both Nendoroid and Figma are so this is incredibly exciting news. Let’s take a look at each figure individually and what we know so far.
One of the first figures revealed is Zero Suit Samus as shown in Metroid: Other M. This ties in nicely to the Samus figure they have released and is still available at some retailers. The sculpt looks great, especially the hair and face. While I haven’t reviewed any Figma figures, they are known for excellent articulation and that certainly fits a character like Samus Aran.
If that isn’t enough Metroid for you, Figma will be releasing one based on Metroid Prime 3 which should be awesome. I would be interested in that figure more than Zero Suit, because I think it is a bit more classic and Metroid: Other M is by far the worst in the series in my opinion, but any Metroid figure is great for Nintendo fans. As you can see from the other picture, we are also getting a Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Figma which should be awesome. I’m a big fan of both that game and its art style and will be very interested in buying that figure.
Perhaps even more exciting because we can see the sculpt is that Princess Zelda is getting her own Wind Waker figure and it is a Nendoroid no less! This should go great alongside the Link Wind Waker Nendoroid that has already been released. I am especially interested to see what accessories she gets and if any of them add on to Link. Regardless of that, I’m excited about this release and can’t wait for more details.
The final bit of Zelda news is that Max Factory is also releasing a Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword figure. If this is what the figure will look like, the paint job is fantastic and really captures the look of the game. I was under the impression that Max Factory does more statues than action figures, but we shall see more details about this figure in the coming months.
Finally, it would appear that a Meta Knight and Corrin Nendoroid are also coming from Good Smile! As someone who really wants the Kirby Nendoroid (and any high quality Kirby figures I can get), the possibility of a Meta Knight Nendoroid is very, very exciting. The quality of the Fire Emblem Nendoroids is outstanding and while I haven’t picked up any and do not plan to because it isn’t one of my favorite series, I think if you are a fan, this will be awesome and something you will want to add to your collection.
This is a lot of exciting news and I suspect all of these releases are months if not a year or more away. There are many reasons to be excited about collecting Nintendo figures in the future and I look forward to bringing you more coverage of these figures as we get closer to their release.
Your thoughts are my own bro. Twilight Princess’s art style rocks, and Other M sucked cocks. I’ll be eagerly awaiting the Prime 3 figma, hope one day we can get a Phazon Suit version.

Glad to hear it and thanks for visiting the site! Figma is our best chance to get more high quality Samus figures and a Phazon Suit would be seriously awesome. Good Smile seems to be making all kinds of more obscure characters and games into figures so hopefully they’re listening.
