Nintendowire.com has spotted some interesting Amiibo news. It looks like Nintendo is releasing several new Amiibo and video game bundles for those who missed out or want to purchase both cheaply. For $40 you can get Blue or Pink Yarn Yoshi and Yoshi’s Woolly World. The same price can also get you Toad and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. Finally, Bowser and Peach will be paired with Mario Party 10. Not only are these bundles smart by Nintendo to get more people to check out Amiibo, but if you have been waiting to get a deal on these games (except for Captain Toad, it isn’t as good of a deal as the other bundles since Captain Toad Treasure Tracker has always been cheaper than regular Wii U games) then this is a pretty good opportunity to do so. Pre-Orders are already available on Amazon and the bundles are available on Sept. 9.
If you’d like to see reviews of these Amiibo and more details about what they can do in-game, check out the following links:
Although I have the original bundles (and the other amiibo of each set), I’m glad that people who don’t have the games yet can pick which amiibo they want to start with, at a cheaper price to boot. It works especially well for Yoshi’s Woolly World for people who would rather have the Blue or Pink Yarn Yoshis. We need a Mega Yarn Yoshi bundle that comes with a mega-sized version of the game, haha.

I was thinking the same thing on the Yarn Yoshi’s. I think they are one of the nicest Amiibos and I keep telling myself I will go out and get a Blue Yoshi one of these days. Yoshi’s Woolly World is an awesome game to boot. I love the Mega Yarn Yoshi idea haha! You should approach Nintendo with this idea! 🙂
