In the rush of World of Nintendo news, there has also been an Amiibo announcement from Nintendo.  Marina and Pearl, two characters from the ever-popular Splatoon series will be coming to Amiibo!  Their predecessors Callie and Marie were really popular and were made into Amiibo so this is welcome news.  The timing of the release is interesting however.  Preorders are up as of the time of writing on Gamestop and they have a December release date currently.  December!  That is a long time to make Splatoon fans wait and I can’t remember Nintendo announcing an Amiibo release quite this far out.  Could this date potentially get moved up?  It certainly wouldn’t shock me.  Here is a look at the new Amiibo:

What do I think of these new Amiibo?  The ink looks so dynamic and fantastic!  The bright colors are going to stand out against other Amiibo in your collection even if you have all of them which is really cool as well.  These look like another really high quality release from Nintendo and should be a treat for Splatoon fans.  What do you think of these two new Amiibo and will you be adding them to your collection?  Let us know in the comments below!
