Bronze Trophy Series Link World of Nintendo Figure Spotted!

The Trophy Series was teased quite a long time ago by Jakks Pacific and if you’re like me, you may have forgotten that it was coming out with all of the other releases in World of Nintendo.  Fortunately, Reddit user Splatune shared their find in a Canadian Walmart and this is the first known sighting of this figure.  While I’m sure some people might question why we need a bronze variation of a character who has never had a metallic look, I think this figure actually looks really good both inside the packaging and just figure on its own.  It may not make much sense as far as where the figure fits into Zelda video games but the Trophy Series looks like a figure worth chasing down.  Hopefully, this figure shows up in the United States soon though as always with World of Nintendo the stocking and timing of releases is completely unpredictable and varies wildly by location.

Personally, I can’t stand Walmart and have never gone toy hunting there so I am prepared to pay the “premium” online price to get this figure.  It will be interesting to see how rare and hard to get this figure is once it is finally released.  What do you think of our first real look at Trophy Series Link?  Will you be hunting this Link down in person or will you try to get it online?  Let us know in the comments below!

    • I agree with you on all accounts 🙂 I think this figure appeals most to the diehard World of Nintendo collector who loves Zelda and has the normal figures and wants something a little different.

  1. It is very strange that us Canadians got a figure before you guys. It’s usually the other way around, haha. It looks shiny but I prefer real coloured figures.

    • Haha, I think everyone is a bit surprised by that! From what I can tell, it seems that a Walmart in Canada just stocked the figure earlier than they should have and that is why this time you guys got it first. So far, the consensus on this figure is that a non-metallic version is preferred so you’re in good company 🙂
